ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Andy. I came up with the idea while I was sat in a tree in April 2020.
Now, I dedicate all of my time to Spectrum Gaming, because I am determined to do as much as I can to make sure autistic young people avoid the struggles I and other autistic adults faced growing up.

Communication Preferences
I tend to be online most days, but this doesn't mean I am always available. In addition to being in the online community, I run advocacy projects, apply for funding, support the staff team, attend meetings, run meetups and a lot more.I love talking to SG members, but unfortunately I get too many messages for me to be able to reply to. This means that I tend to not reply to direct messages unless they are urgent.But this isn't personal and I love chatting playing with people whenever I get the chance!

Safeguarding I am a Designated Safeguarding Lead at Spectrum Gaming, which means that I am responsible for making sure young people feel safe, comfortable and happy - so please feel welcome to get in touch if you are worried about yours, or someone else's safety.The best way to get in touch with a Safeguarding Lead is by making an Adult Staff Support Ticket on Discord, as I am not always working. But if your concern involves another member of staff, please feel welcome to message me directly and I will respond as soon as I can.

I had a fear of heights for a very long time, but in 2024 I went on a roller coaster for the first time and now love them!

Running

Before SG I used to run LOTS. After a 4 year break, I recently started again and I am loving it.

Anime

I LOVE anime. Here are some of Some of my favourites are JJBA, OPM, JJK, AOT, Mob Psycho and Solo Leveling

Music

I am ALWAYS listening to music. I like most genres, but at the moment particularly love Porter Robinson, Cavetown, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Good Kid.
